It’s another busy week on the farm, and once again, something completely unexpected happens…

We start with ongoing yard maintenance and preparations for the next phase of our shed build, with more stone arriving and progress continuing on the base. As harvest approaches, we also begin clearing wheat pre-harvest and making sure everything is ready for the weeks ahead.

Alongside this, we review current fuel prices, try to remember exactly which drill we used where, and even resort to some unconventional methods of bird scaring.

But the biggest surprise? Another car ends up in one of our fields, something that’s becoming far too familiar…

A real look at the unpredictable nature of farm life, where no two days are ever the same.
