It’s a windy day on the farm and we’ve been busy catching up after potato harvest. We finally got all the manure trucks and tractors washed, pulled into the shop, and even decked one out with Christmas lights 🎄🚜

Today we’re starting something new — boxing and selling our own potatoes. We head to town to pick up boxes, set up a better system than sitting on the pile, and start filling 20 lb and 50 lb boxes just in time for Thanksgiving. Along the way we sort out rocks, rotten spuds, and figure out what actually works for boxing potatoes efficiently.

Christopher is back from AgroTechnica in Germany, and we’re getting ready to share footage from his trip in an upcoming video. We also run into a little equipment trouble at the end of the day, because farming wouldn’t be farming without something breaking.
