The power went out on the farm… so I figured it was the perfect time to head to the mountains.
In this RMF Outdoors episode, I put tracks on the side-by-side, hauled a massive load of lumber through snowy mountain roads, and made real progress on the cabin. With snow on the ground, limited daylight, and no power, this one got interesting fast.

I’m building out the loft, strengthening the framing, sealing up the cabin to hold heat, and getting things ready so we can work on it all winter—and hopefully stay in it by spring. It’s a ton of work, but seeing it come together makes it worth it.
