All right guys, today we’re getting started in the fields as we begin setting up for planting season.

My dad is running this tractor for the first time, so we walk through getting everything dialed in — from leveling the implement to checking depth and making sure the GPS lines are good to go. Once we get it set, we let it rip… and this thing pulls HARD.

We also spend time fine-tuning depth (going from about 8 inches to 10 inches), trying different methods to measure it accurately since the ground was already worked deep.

Back at the shop, it’s full-on prep mode:

Fixing hydraulic banks
Swapping duals for potato spacing
Installing fertilizer tanks
Hooking up all the planters
Dealing with a few broken parts along the way

On top of that, we’ve got pivot repairs, ditch cleaning, and a long list of things to get done before planting really kicks off.
