We begin the grass silage season for 2026 in the John Deere 9700i and fleet of John Deere tractors running the trailers back to the silage clamp at the AD plant.

Not the heaviest crop but the plan is to take 2 cuts prior to the maize being drilled come May.

We wash beet before the silaging commences as we get through the pile of beet in stock.

Come the afternoon Harry heads off spreading fertiliser on ground before Steve drills spring oats in to the stubbles with the Horsch Focus drill behind his John Deere 8R410.

While that is being done, Andrew is ploughing a difficult field with the Kuhn plough and his 8R370.
