A day of applications: The JCB Fastrac 8330 iCON is pulling the Samson slurry tanker after works were carried out on the machine to get it back up and going. Since a new pump was fitted it’s running brilliant - fills and empties very quickly.

Elsewhere the Horsch Leeb is back out in a maize crop applying some crop boost on a few fields that hadn’t responded as well to the organic fertiliser used and needed some additional nutrients.

In the workshop the 2 John Deere harvesters both needed some work done: the major job being on the 9700i forager. Every knife needed to be removed and the bolts, nuts and holders all changed for new parts. We’d been experiencing some movement in the blades and tightness of the bolts.
