Beet harvest commences as we test the water on the beet ground near Braunton.
It seems to be the only field in Devon that can travel as Will takes another 11 trailer loads out - but not without incident as the woods at the bottom of the field were nearly rearranged by the harvester on wet slippery ground!

Andrew again manned the high-tip Bailey in his 8R370 John Deere and the rest of the fleet of John Deeres were all hauling back to the AD plant.

Steve was pulling the Bunning trailer in the morning with his 8R410 but by the afternoon I’d taken him to hospital with his second injury of the year - a squat/ cut finger that definitely couldn’t be plastered over!
An abrupt end to the day!
