Heavy rain slows us down this morning, but we finish some workshop jobs mending and straightening a couple of hydraulic rams on the Joskin Drakkar trailer, and straightening parts from the Samson slurry tanker.

We then recalibrate the Horsch Leeb sprayer to fix the ‘ins and outs’ of the section control which should help on the wheat going into the ground shortly as well as roundup spraying later in the year.

Maize harvest in the John Deere 9700i continues in the afternoon as we finish one customers harvest and get it tipped away in his silage pit; we watch a couple of case tractors struggle back across the maize stubbles with their full trailers - do they make it up on their own?
