The concrete floor of the grain store is finished, power floated, expansion joints cut and now the wait is on to be able to use it! It looks a fantastic finish from first viewing.

We check in on some customers’ beet for the devastating caterpillars that are plaguing local beet crops and find a few within the plants, it will likely require a spray to combat these problems growing!

In the yard the preparation for maize harvest begins - the header is washed before further maintenance, Andrews John Deere 8R370 is serviced and Steve starts to fabricate a fuel tank for his front linkage!

We check in on multiple maize blocks for a general look on plant height/ bulk but also the cob development and compare plants based on their drilling date. Allowing us to compare blocks both by drill date and also variety to determine which grew best!
