Another 60 acres of first cut grass silage to attack, cut and raked yesterday to keep the Dry Matter for rising too high, will picks it up in the John Deere 9700i and the fleet of John Deeres haul back to the Anaerobic Digester to clamp it. We’ve got a couple of 8 series John Deeres on - 400 HP but they still have to do the harvest work! As well as a couple of 6R250s.

We watch Tony buck rake and roll the grass away in their monster clamps. The maize clamp is modified to find a home for this grass in the mean time!

We then work on maintenance and cleaning of the cultivation equipment after a long maize planting season as Andrew goes through his Terrano 4MT.
