Silage starts early with a 9 mile haul and 8 trailers running - with a reintroduction to the Joskin Drakkar and our wounded Bunning silage trailer. All available tractors on the run including the 2 John Deere 8R370.

The John Deere 9700i cruises through and is sorted by the afternoon in time for Andrew and Harry to get back on to cultivation and power harrowing and for Will to get back to drilling maize in the 6R250 and Horsch precision drill.

Dad is out in the 8R410 pulling the George Moate tillerstar 3 bed tiller. Needing everything under the bonnet to keep it moving.

Elsewhere George has a frustrating day in the Horsch Leeb sprayer as a pipe bursts while he’s in the middle of beet spraying.
