First cut grass silage at Nutson farm! A big day in the calendar as we get through 180 acres of grass silage in the John Deere 9700i SPFH and fleet of John Deere tractors and trailers.

We cut through 180 acres of grass, a mixture of rye grass and longer ley, all rolled in by Tony on the buckrake.

Steve is out in the 8R410 and Terrano 6mt to lift the soil before power harrowing for maize drilling later this week. Harry is out spreading digestate fibre on ground prior to spring cultivations!

A very busy full on day!
