We’re spreading fertiliser first thing with Harry in the John Deere 8R370 and Amazone fert spreader.
We discuss the issues surrounding current fertiliser price and whether the crop price upon harvesting is worth the cost of putting fertiliser down in the seedbed!
Conflict in the Middle East has pushed the Fertiliser prices to a point where the price is increasing multiple times a day which is unprecedented.

We then wash and chop beet at the AD plant as they increase their feeding and we need to keep up with their needs!

Later in the afternoon we’ve got both Pichon dung spreaders on with Dad and Rob pulling them in a John Deere 6R250 and a 8R410.
We check in on the winter OSR and see that the crop is flying and we need to keep an eye on it so it doesn’t get too forward! It’s currently looking very impressive.
