Monday sees us start our wholecrop Oats harvest. These spring oats will be supplying a local AD plant.

Will is driving our old machine, still a John Deere 9700i but now Smallridge’s machine.
Our chopper is still currently out of action until a new plan on fixing it comes to light.

On trailers we’ve got 2 John Deere 8R370s one with a Roland trailer and one with a Joskin Drakkar. There are also 2 John Deere 6R250s hauling back to the AD plant.
Back at the plant, Steve in the 8R410 has the buck rake on and is rolling the crop in.

Rain stops play after the first field as the dry matter of the crop is too low to continue!
