Not the day we wanted, but we’ve been able to still work towards the end goal of all the maize being planted!
Both Samson slurry tankers were out spreading ground before cultivations start later in the week. The JCB Fastrac iCON 8330 and John Deere 8R410 pulling them.

Elsewhere we moved a load of digestate fibre ready to be spread tomorrow on another block of ground - we have a look at the Class Xerion reverse drive tractor powering the wood chipper on the AD plant before the woodchip is dried on site.

Elsewhere the replacement wheels for the row crops on the sprayer arrive, they are however too narrow and eventually not needed as the current wheels flipped around will give an acceptable outcome for our track width problems. Hopefully the last of the issues we’ll have with the wheels on the Horsch Leeb 6.300 VT sprayer!

We check in on the earliest drilled maize to see how it’s come up and is getting on early doors.
