Well.. it's about that time! The feeder calves have been weaned for a while & our outside purchased & sourced calves are here and ready to move up with the home raised calves. We use a 4 step finishing TMR program to feed out cattle from weaning to finishing -- aka leaving on a truck to become beef + byproducts down the road. They just moved to step 2 & we also opened up our earlage pile to start feedind during the colder months.
