Well folks, we had our first 'not so perfect' calf born yesterday. I noticed #418 taking much longer than normal to calve. I checked the calves feet and what do you know.. the toes were pointed down! That means her calf was coming backwards. I'll walk you through how I knew she was in distress, how we pulled her calf and then supplementing with Colostrum. (Cargill product!)
