We are on the last day of our first 3 weeks of artificial insemination and today I find out how many cows have been put up.
It's super important to get as many cows cycling in the first 3 weeks as possible for our seasonal calving pattern.
I'm also weaning the last of the replacements

I’m Andrew The Once A Day Farmer, I farm alongside my father on my family dairy farm in New Zealand.
Our Dairy system is quite unique as we only milk our 320 jersey cows 'Once A Day' (hence the name) only in the morning, and they stay outside on grass for 365 days of the year!!
