It's certainly not uncommon but I've had a cow abort her calf 40 days before her due date which is earlier than expected but at least its July!
The good thing is that she has come into milk, sometimes when they are early like this there is risk that they don't and they never milk very well into the season.
However I think she will be alright, there's also some really bad weather on the way so I'm getting prepared for that too
