Milks flowing again! It's been at least 8 weeks since our last lot of milk was sent to the factory and we are underway again for another new season.
There's always a risk of being graded on the first pick so hopefully this one goes smoothly.
I'm also letting the older calves out in the paddock to run around which is one of the best times of the year but it's also going to make feeding them easier as well!

Hey I’m Andrew The Once A Day Farmer, I farm alongside my father on my family dairy farm in New Zealand.
Our Dairy system is quite unique as we only milk our 320 jersey cows Once A Day (hence the name), and they stay outside on grass for 365 days of the year!!
