I have 5 young empty cows that have good figures so I'm selling them to a friend to see if they will milk through the winter. Marked all the cows that i'm going to use dry cow on which should make it easier when the time comes.
Also trying to get the bonfires lit so we can start clearing away the heaps to tidy the paddock up.

Hey I’m Andrew The Once A Day Farmer, I farm alongside my father on my family dairy farm in New Zealand.
Our Dairy system is quite unique as we only milk our 320 jersey cows Once A Day (hence the name), and they stay outside on grass for 365 days of the year!!
