Season is officially over! last milking done just waiting for the tanker to pick the last load up and I can wash the vat and close up shop.
The vets and techs are coming in today to teat seal the last of the cows as its just so much quicker and easier for them to do it and teat sealing can be pretty risky so better let the pros do it.
I have never done it in the past but this season due to an increase in mastitis has made me go down this route and I'm hoping to see some results come spring time...
