Today I'm checking cows to see if I can put them in the vat.
We are almost ready to start suppling milk again after 8 weeks since we last had milk taken off the farm.
Also checking for new calves and droughting out the cows

I’m Andrew The Once A Day Farmer, I farm alongside my father on my family dairy farm in New Zealand.
Our Dairy system is quite unique as we milk our 320 jersey cows 'Once A Day' (hence the name) only in the morning, and they stay outside on grass for 365 days of the year!!
