Angela also took a trip to the university campus and spent the morning at the Midlands Agritec Innovation Hub. The Agri-Epi centre brings together people who have a new tech idea with organisations who can bring that to life. A prime example of this is SmartBell. A new calf ear tag which delivers upto date information on the animal's health. Therefore enabling preventative medical treatment to be given even before it shows external signs of illness.
