I really enjoyed this visit, thanks to all the Drainage Board staff for putting this on.
This week I join other farmers, Lincs and Humberside Drainage Board staff for their annual tour of one of their regions and depots. We start at Witham 3rd depot in Woodhall Spa, hear about and see the huge sums invested in new pumps, pipe work, excavators and bank mowers in readiness for when the next big rain event causes flooding. We then tour by coach and see all the improvements and repairs the IDB have done in areas affected by Storm Henk and Babet in late 2023 and early 2024.
