Whats in this farm update:

This week Max is putting the T1 fungicide on the wheats with the 48m Agrifac. The tank mix consists of 7 different products!

You might remember last September I featured the building of a replica life size WW2 Lancaster Bomber, “On Freedom Wings”. The official opening is in a couple of weeks and a local company Tillers Turf have supplied and laid some turf to smarten up the site under the Lancaster. I visit while this is being done and chat to Richard from Tillers, Jamie and Charlie who’s farm the Lancadter is situated.

I also get a visit from a very large drone with a propeller span of 9 feet!! This is carrying out a trial with a seaweed product spraying into winter wheat.
