Part 2 and the last part of an in depth look at the New Zealand dairy industry. We visit a farm in West Otago with a rotary dairy parlour and see the cows being milked and then go to Edendale and visit Fonterra, New Zealand’s biggest milk processor, they make more milk powder than any other company in NZ and have just starting producing UHT cream at that factory.
Part 1 looked at how milk solids are produced rather than milk and the importance of animal breeding, irrigation and grass mixtures.
