The yields are in so I go through every variety of every Crop in tons per hectare and tons per acre! Spring Barley is probably the worst we’ve ever had, the winter wheats a little better but still very disappointing considering the crops looked to have so much potential in the spring.

I’ve also started to re map the boundaries of every field with the John Deere system and this is because we have a different receiver on the 6215 R and the old boundaries are not compatible with our new Farming partners John Deere machinery.

Managing the Grain once it’s in the shed is a very important before it leaves the Farm so I go into details of how we cool it with the use of the cooler nighttime air.
