Preparation for spring planting commences with glyphosate (round up) applied to weeds which have grown over the autumn and winter in fields destined to be planted with spring barley. Lots of weeds were present and with great ground conditions and weather it was an opportunity not to be missed.

Reuben and Tom complete the rebuilding of the rollers on the Simba drill with new new tyres, the old ones took a lot of getting off!

We have started moving Oil seed rape which we store for a local merchant, we have 2,800 tons in total to load.
