Dave Edwards is a soil expert and loves getting stuck in. He says if the grass doesn't taste good to you, it won't taste good to the cows and sheep. So he's come north to the Highlands to visit Niall Rowantree, our Canny Crofter, to assess his ground and offer him some advice. Niall wants to breathe life into his fields and return to techniques used in the past such as spreading seaweed on your land. Dave runs UK Seaweed Fertiliser and believes some aeration and an application of his unique product will make a difference...tastier grass, healthier soil and more grazing or silage.
