Welcome back to the farm! After getting back from a much-needed spring break with my family, I returned to total chaos - and of course, we're bringing you along for the ride!

While I was gone, the crew hauled manure non-stop, but it was anything but smooth sailing. Nearly everything that could break, did break. We had multiple trucks down, chains snapping, and breakdowns left and right. Even with all that, the team managed to keep at least four trucks running - which is no small feat.

In this video, we dive into: 🚜 The aftermath of a tough manure-hauling week
🏚️ Walking through the potato cellar and showing how far we've gotten clearing it out
🍟 The processor rejecting potatoes and what we're doing with them instead
💸 The cost and frustration of having to move potatoes from one cellar to another just to make room for seed potatoes arriving next week
🔧 Major breakdowns on two manure trucks - one with a bent PTO shaft and the other that swallowed a chunk of concrete, destroying a sprocket and bearing block
🧱 Yes, you read that right - concrete in the manure! We have no idea how it gets in there, but it's wrecking our equipment
🛠️ Unboxing and setting up our brand-new Millermatic 255 welder with the auto-set feature (great for beginners on the farm!)
🛞 Swapping out pivot tires and patching irrigation equipment to get ready for wheat planting
🔥 Trying to weld and repair equipment that's literally dripping with manure - yuck)

We're doing everything we can to keep things moving while prepping for seed potato arrival, and of course, doing all the repairs ourselves to save money. This is real-life farming - gritty, unpredictable, and always full of curveballs.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to run a working farm in the spring, when every piece of equipment is muddy, worn, or broken and you're trying to juggle a million things at once - this video is for you.

👉 Make sure to like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoy seeing the behind-the-scenes of farm life. It's not always pretty, but it's always real.
