Back in the early 2000's my dad Bob Welker decided he needed grain bins with aeration floors. Without electricity anywhere near by the only option was to move the bins to a new location. As is custom around here, we went to the shop and fabricated a Big Bud crane to transport 9 grain bins a mile and half where power would be available. It was a sigh of relief when the first grain bin slowly lifted off the ground. To this day we've only used this crane to move 9 grain bins and a few roof trusses during construction of a new shop. We're positive it is a one of a kind and someday we will resurrect Bob's Big Bud Bin Boom to move some bins once again.
