It's the BIG REVEAL! How much did we ACTUALLY spend on repairs? Did we actually get it FIXED?! Find out in this FINAL video!
The trailer repair costs came to $500, but if you include the guy we hired to weld the crack it's $600. Honestly we could have done that too.
The spool gun and grinder are NOT included in the price since these items will be used for other projects as well :)
Caulk and sealer are items needed for ALL purchased trailers as this needs constantly replacement regardless of the trailer, so they are not included in the price either.
We have NOT completed the lift yet, Erik is thinking about waiting until spring . . . I'm thinking sooner . . .
We still need to replace the lights with new LEDs and finish the DOT tape.
And then there is the INSIDE . . . but that will be loosely covered in a new video series not as intense as this one ;)
Join Farm Girl on her many CRAZY adventures on their NEWLY BUILT family farm on 87 acres in Western Michigan. Born and raised a city-girl, she's finding out everyday what's she's made of as she struggles to make sense of the farming life!
With plenty of tongue-in-cheek humor and lots of mischief, you never know what you'll watch next!
While dairy farming runs thick though the veins of both her grandparents and her boyfriend Erik's grandparents, this is their FIRST real experience running a farm!
With the ever-present threat of agricultural and small farming practices dying-off, Farm Girl shows that anyone can keep old traditions alive with a bit of grit and determination (and maybe some crying).
