It had all been GOING so SMOOTHLY . . . until now.
It had to be at the end . . . the time we NEEDED THINGS TO GO SMOOTHLY the most. And everything began to FALL APART.
Starting with the stove catching fire - in the WRONG PLACE while we installed it.
And even though cutting and installing hydroboard in the shower was pretty straight forward, we did have a few issues wiring the LED niche light and converting 12volt to 24volt .
But this is the start of the end . . . so I guess things WILL be falling apart!
Don't worry . . . it gets worse . . .
In this video we:
Test the gas connection on the Range Oven
Cut and install Hardibacker board Hydrodefense
Apply cement board mesh tape and mortar to the cement board seams
Screw Down the Kitchen Island
Install tile curbing in the bathroom
Repair the broken fiberglass bathtub
Wire the bathroom shower for LED lighting
Convert 12 volt power to 24 volt power by correctly wiring the LED junction boxes
Next week we will:
Take a closer look at the Slate-Lite wall tile
Prime and Seal the Slate-Lite Tile
Apply Water-Proofing to the cement board joints
Test the fit of the Shower Niche
Install Railings!
