Farm Girl gets a new maple sap collection set-up, but will it work? Running fully on the sun and a battery back-up, their hobby maple vacuum system is solar-powered and runs a shurflo 4048 pump to pull maple sap out of the trees into their 3/4" mainline and back out into a collection tank.

This system uses a combination of temperature sensors, pumps, batteries and a car light to stay up and running!
