What happens when 100° heat, unexpected rain, and nonstop breakdowns all hit at the same time? Welcome to another busy day on the farm!
Today we're racing to finish baling hay before the weather changes again, checking on our spring and winter wheat to see how close harvest is, and digging up potato plants to see just how much they've grown over the last few weeks. The results were even better than we expected!
Of course, no day on the farm is complete without equipment problems. We deal with bent rake parts, broken grease fittings, baler issues, and even a giant oversized bale that takes two loaders to move. Between hauling hay, flying the drone, fixing machinery, and starting irrigation pivots, it's one of those days where there's never a dull moment.
