We’re hauling hay! Today we’re moving hundreds of 3x4 bales from the field to the stack, wrapping up our very first baled hay harvest in nearly 70 years! I wasn’t out when they were baling, but the team’s been hard at it, and now we’re bringing it all in. Trevor, Josh, Brady, and Christopher are running the loaders and trucks—watch as we load up the hay train and my old Top Kick GMC! We’ve learned a ton this year, from managing moisture to stacking with air gaps to prevent fires. It’s been a new experience for us compared to silage, with a lot fewer people needed. Plus—we found a badger hole in the field! Come along for the ride as we finish up first crop hay 2025. If you’re new here, hit that subscribe button and double-check if you’re still subscribed—YouTube sometimes bumps people off.
