Today on the farm, we check in on all the crops and see how everything is growing. First, we dig up some potato plants to see the progress on our Norkotas and find 10 little new potatoes on a single plant! We talk about blight and pink rot treatments and even show the pumpkins we planted at the end rows of the potato field. Then we head to the wheat fields to check out our LCS Hammer and Bullseye 9668 spring wheat varieties. The wheat is already waist-high and filling out nicely, promising a great yield and plenty of straw for bales this year. We also take a look at second crop hay, which got hit with some rain before baling, and talk about fluffing it to dry. Finally, we update you on our mammotion luba mini awd and the new luba 2 lawnmower as we swap out the two smaller ones for a brand-new all-wheel drive mower capable of handling our entire yard. Crops are growing strong, hay is coming along, and the new mower is saving tons of time.
