Join us for another day on the farm as we dive into spring wheat planting! I just got back from the mill with a load of wheat seed, and we’re loading up the grain drill to keep the planting rolling. Christopher’s out in the field and almost done with this 121-acre field—only about 30 acres left before we move on to the final stretch. We’re filling the drill straight from the truck using the auger, and getting it all dialed in for a smooth planting session. We talk about planting techniques, equipment setups, and how we’re managing 1,600 acres of wheat this year—up from last year’s 1,300! We also chat about upcoming hay planting plans, dealing with wild oats, and trying out our brand-new New Holland 3x4 baler.
