Spring is here, which means it's time to get the water running… or at least try to.

Today we're out flushing pivots, cleaning screens, and getting everything ready for irrigation season. Christopher’s been busy getting water moving while the rest of us are in the field working ground—but with freezing temps in the forecast, we’ve got to be careful not to ice everything up.

We deal with:

Flushing pivot lines and clearing sand/debris
Fixing plugged nozzles and dirty screens
Checking pumps and dealing with breakdowns
Running a pivot just enough to get moisture on dry ground
Trying to outguess the weather (good luck with that)

With temps swinging from 80° down to the teens, it’s one of those seasons where timing is everything. We’ll get things ready now and hope next week brings warmer weather so we can really get rolling.
