Potato harvest continues here in eastern Idaho, and Day 3 brings plenty of challenges! From trucks getting stuck in sandy fields to equipment breakdowns and rocks, weeds, and vines causing problems, we're working hard to keep everything moving. Thankfully, our Yankum kinetic recovery ropes are getting a workout pulling loaded potato trucks through the sand!

After battling the sandy field, we move back into fields where the moisture is just right. The potatoes are looking great, and our latest digs are yielding around **480 sacks per acre**! With potato prices looking better than last year, we're hoping for a much better harvest season.

We also take a look at some unexpected hail damage, the mountains of dirt and vines coming out of the fields, and a cellar that's filling up fast. With nearly 25,000 sacks already in the cellar, we'll soon be moving to the next one!

It's a busy day on the farm, but that's potato harvest. There's always something to fix, something to dig, and another challenge waiting around the corner.
